The minimum requirement for installing Windows XP SP3 is a 233 MHz processor, 128 MB of system memory and hard drive space of at least 1 GB and above. If you intend installing only the Service Pack 3 patch over your previous installation of Windows XP, the minimum requirement would be Windows XP with SP1. Make sure you are using genuine Windows as pirated Windows would not get updated.
