Most people think that their PC is mischief, like it turns off itself often and can't turn on. When I test power supply to verify there is no difficulty with it then I know it should be Hibernation choice is on.
Hibernation is component of power management aspects in XP so you can conserve batteries without taking long time to close and open applications to shut down and then reboot again. If you set Hibernation Mode on particular time of period of idleness, system will mechanically save files in memory and shuts down virtually.
Most people did not set Hibernation Mode themselves, but somehow system is turned on by itself and they do not know what's going on.
To turn off Hibernation Mode in XP, follow the steps given below:

Step 1
Go to Control Panel; double click "Power Options", Power Options Property window appears.
Step 2
Click "Hibernation" tab. There is box adjacent to "Enable Hineration", uncheck it to turn it off.
Step 3
Click Apply and Ok to save settings.
