Sleep mode is power saving mode found in XP. Sleep mode was intended to limit system functionality and power down monitor if system is inactive for some period of time. It is successfully money saving tool for customer. If you are having problems stopping sleep mode, or want to disable it. Follow steps given below.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn on PC and wait for Windows XP to load.
Step 2
Right click on desktop and choose "Properties".
Step 3
Click "Screen Saver" tab when display properties menu shows.
Step 4
Click "Power" button on Display Properties window.
Step 5
Click "System Standby" and choose "Never" option. This will disable sleep mode.
