Volume Shadow Copy is part of Windows OS that helps to conserve and shield data loss on network using Windows Server 2003 or later. Volume Shadow Copy is mechanically installed as part of Windows XP installation, but if file is someway disabled or damaged, you can quickly reinstall other copy by downloading it.

Instructions

Step 1

Download Volume Shadow Copy and save it.

Step 2

Double-click on file to start installation procedure.

Step 3

Restart PC to finish installation.

Step 4

Go to "Start", click "Run" and type in services.msc.

Step 5

Go through list of installed services. Find Volume Shadow Copy, verifying that it has been effectively installed.
