If you have bought PC with hidden partition on hard disk for system recovery, you choose that rather delete data, regain lost hard drive space, and recover system from Windows CD if system fails. If you do this, you want to resize hard drive partition to have reclaimed storage space display on main hard drive. Expand size of hard drive partition if you have deleted data from other partition that you did not plan to use.

Instructions

Step 1


Download and install EASEUS Partition Manager. Run program after it is installed. Click "Yes" to User Access Control warning when running program.

Step 2

Click drive having partition that you want to expand. In top portion of window, observe at least two rectangles showing existing partition structure of hard drive. One rectangle must say "Unallocated Space."

Step 3


Right click partition earlier than unallocated space and click "Resize/Move."

Step 4

Click and drag outline at top of window to decide new capacity of partition that you are modifying size of. Drag outline to extreme right side of window to use all hard drive's unallocated space for resized partition.

Step 5

Click "OK" to close window.

Step 6


Click "Apply". Click "Yes."

Step 7

Click "OK," then close EASEUS Partition Manager. The expanded capacity of hard drive is obtainable to utilize instantly.
