The Add Printer Wizard is basic part of Windows XP that permits to rapidly and proficiently organize new printers to work with PC. As Add Printer Wizard generally works perfectly, files for wizard can become damaged eventually or with introduction of virus or malware onto system. The only possible resolution is to do complete repair reinstallation of OS.

Instructions

Step 1

Put Windows XP disc and restart system.

Step 2

Tap any key on keyboard as PC is loading up to start from CD.

Step 3

Go through screens until asked whether you want to do repair installation (NOT recovery console) or complete installation. This screen will appear instantly after agreeing to End-User Licensing Agreement.

Step 4

Press "R" to do repair installation, overwriting all system files for OS and restoring Add Printer Wizard to efficient status.
