Windows XP Tablet PC Edition was tablet improved edition of Windows XP Professional OS. As said by Microsoft, "Windows XP Tablet PC Edition contains all that is accessible in Windows XP Professional," with range of tablet particular features like support for signals and handwriting and stylus support. The 2005 version was final version of XP Tablet OS. So, follow similar procedure to make manual Dial-Up Network on Tablet XP OS as there on Windows XP Professional OS.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to "Start," then "Control Panel." Choose "Classic View".
Step 2
Double click on "Network Connections."
Step 3
Choose "Create a new connection" below "Network Tasks."
Step 4
Click "Next" when "New Connection Wizard" shows.
Step 5
Choose "Connect to the Internet." Click "Next."
Step 6
Choose "Set up my connection manually." Click "Next."
Step 7
Select "bond with a dial-up modem." Click "Next."
Step 8
Enter "Name" of ISP. unite "Next."
Step 9
Enter "Phone number" as required to dial. E.g., if you want to dial "9" to access an outside line, enter "9" next comma and phone number.
Step 10
Enter "User name." Enter and verify "Password." Check or uncheck "Use this account name and password when anybody attaches to Internet from this PC" and "Make this default Internet connection," along with requirements. Click "Next."
Step 11
Check "Add a shortcut to this connection on the desktop," if preferred. Click "Finish."
