Indiana University's technology service describes Windows Explorer as "an application that gives full information about files, folders, and drives. You can utilize it to see how files are arranged and to copy, move and rename files, with do other tasks relating to files, folders, and drives." Windows Explorer has been utilized in PCs as Windows 95. Though as Windows 95, many new PC applications have been developed. If you have new application that you would rather, you must delete Windows Explorer to save memory and space.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to "Start"

Step 2
Click "Run." Type name of particular file you are looking.
Step 3
Enter "appwiz.cpl" in Run screen. Click "OK."
Step 4
Click "Windows Explorer."
Step 5
Choose "Remove" to totally remove Windows Explorer.
