When running Internet Explorer in Windows XP, you may get "Iexplore.exe" error message. Then close Internet Explorer. This situation is caused by software clashes. Spyware and adware are nasty software that installed mistakenly or when installing other program like toolbar, game or other program. You want to scan and delete any nasty software. Out-of-date versions of Internet Explorer also be difficult and make many software incompatibilities. You must upgrade or reinstall Internet Explorer.

Remove Spyware

Step 1

Download and update an anti-spyware program like AdAware, Spybot, or Windows Defender. Update spyware definitions if anti-spyware program is there.

Step 2

Launch anti-spyware program. Delete any adware or spyware found on PC. If anti-spyware program reports any errors or is incapable to delete any nasty programs, you want to delete programs yourself.

Reboot PC.

Go to "Start," "Control Panel." Choose "Classic View".

Open "Add/Remove Programs."

Scan program listings for any programs included as you started facing problems. If you detect program that fit this category, double click program to start
uninstallation program.

Follow prompts to finish uninstallation. Do again this process for every program you want to uninstall. Reboot PC.

Download Internet Explorer and reinstall it. If version of Internet Explorer does not work, download with other browser, if probable, or with other PC.
