I want to know that it is secure to uninstall all the updates with XP and install SP3, thus save room to expand ubuntu partition. Tell me whether I can delete Windows XP updates from Control Panel. Any help will be appreciated.

You can uninstall it; if you made system restore point then you can delete install updates. Perform system restore to previous date of installation of windows updates.

To switch off automatic updates on PC go to control panel. Then open Automatic Updates and choose Turn off Automatic Updates and click OK.

To uninstall Windows XP updates go to Control Panel and click Add / Remove Programs.

• Click on Show Updates.

• It shows updates and then to uninstall and click Remove.
