    Default Windows Update stops at 40%

    When I download inform there is small yellow guard show on taskbar. It is treatment update 40% downloaded and its stops for 2 to 3 hours. So please advise me how to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

    Simply go to Start, open All Programs then choose Windows Update & download files yourself. "Custom" button used to select what to install, before getting crap like IE8.
