1] Start your computer normally.

2] Click on Start, and then click on RUN, in run box type %SystemRoot%\System32\Restore\Rstrui.exe and then click OK.

3] Now one page appear on your monitor screen. On Welcome to system Restore page, Click Restore my computer to an earlier time, then click Next.

4] Move to next step on the Select a Restore Point page, click on system checkpoint. Now select the restore point area, you can see “Guided Help (Registry Backup)” then click on Next. If on your monitor System Restore Message appears that list configuration changes then click OK.

5] On Confirm Restore Point Selection page, click Next. System automatically restores the previous windows xp configuration and then restarts your computer.

6] When your System Restore Confirmation page appears , Log on to the computer and Then click on OK.
