Thread: Unable to start Windows XP

My PC crashed; it was working well but can’t restart in normal or safe mode. I tried to restart from disc, it shows error as: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED-AREA. I try all possible ways to start it but only XP logo appears and then it stops. Please help me to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

I think your hard drive is crashed. Take out hard drive and place it in the slave mode. Attach it to other PC and see if it gets detected. Take back up of data and format the drive. After hard drive is formatted, attach it to PC and try to install OS again. This may solve your problem.

I think problem is blue screen of death. So install OS on PC again. This will solve your problem.
