If many users on a particular computer or server, you have speculated how you can adapt their registry settings without having to log in using their account in order. You can use Administrative level account to revise and adapt registry of users on computer without having to log in with every user's account. You will want little computer knowledge in working with registry in order to create these modifications.
Instructions
• Log in to the computer using an Administrative-level account.
• Click "Start" button. If you organization XP, click "Run," type "REGEDIT.EXE" and click "OK." If you are organization Vista or Windows 7, type "REGEDIT" into find bar and then click on "regedit.exe" program that appears in search results.
• Click "File" and "Open." Browse folder "C:\Documents and
Settings\UserName\" is windows Xp or "C:\Users\UserName" is windows vista where "Username" is username of account you want to adapt or edit. Click "NTUSER.DAT" file and then click "Open" button.
• Enter name of user account you are adapting when provoked to enter "Key Name." You can use "plus" symbols on left side of Registry Editor to expand registry hive for user account opened and then build necessary modifications.
• Choose origin of Registry hive for user account you opened and choose "File," "Unload Hive" option once you have ended making adapts you want to make.
