    Default Lock Desktop Icons in Windows XP

    I have XP installed on my PC. I want to lock icons which are there on desktop but problem is I am unable to lock it. So please tell me how to stop moving them or locking desktop icons in XP. Provide me any information about this. Thanks in advance.

    Follow steps given below to lock desktop icons:

    • Right click on desktop.

    • Click properties option.

    • Go to Customize Desktop and check the lock desktop option.

    To lock desktop icons in XP just Right tick on blank space of desktop, put check on lock icons and uncheck auto arrangements. This will lock the desktop icons. This will solve your problem.
