Thread: XP wont boot at all

I taken computer second hand and the lot was fine for week. Pending I establish it had Trojan called dr.gaurd which won’t go left. I download stopzilla that helped pop ups. But then downloaded Trojan hunter 5 to eliminate it. It scans finds two Trojans and nine substance? Then computer turns off or chill. And now I can’t create it past the welcome to Packard bell screen just goes black?

Have you tried booting to safe mode with networking and if it boots, then rescanning? It is probable that have revival division from plant that can revisit computer to unique factory state. Also it is possible that if computer silent has windows label with key, that can use one more windows XP disk of equal type and reinstall via own key. Don't forget to completely format hard drive using XP disk to be confident. And don't overlook that any recent hardware will want its drivers installed. Post back details for more precise help.
