Thread: Can’t boot XP

I am unable to boot windows XP and when I attempt to start with safe mode it shows blue screen with a question mark. When I boot usually it hangs on logo screen. So please help me to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

Do the steps given below to solve this error.

• Insert Recovery CD in CD drive and reboot PC.

• You get blue screen with message Welcome to Setup click R from key board

• If prompted then push Enter key and fix will begin.

• System begins automatically as repair completes.

Attempt to fix windows XP if likely with help of windows XP CD. If you can’t do repair then final option to reinstall system again. After installing XP again try to make system safer by few antivirus application I suggest you Avg Antivirus professional build.

If your OS does not open in safe mode, There are any windows file missing so you should reinstall XP.
