Thread: Unable to delete file in XP

I have desktop PC and XP is already installed in it. But when I go to delete any file it shows error as cannot delete (Filename): Access is denied. So please help me to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

Start your PC as login as administrator. And from the administrator account try to access it and then delete it. This will solve your problem.

I think you must restart your PC in the safe mode and then try to delete it.
