Thread: Windows XP not responding

I have XP home and it stops while working on any application. I use PC mainly for file sharing on network. It is new install as last copy came up that it can’t precisely validate my license.
So please help me to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

To solve this problem just perform these following things Go to desktop, then open My Computer, open C drive and go to properties. In "General tab" Click "Disk Cleanup"
Click OK. Follow instructions and go to "C drive" properties again. Click "Tools" tab
Go to error checking and check now. Put check mark in both white boxes. Click OK, then OK and work on desktop. Go to start button and click restart. After that is finished, see if you still have hang ups.

maybe your edition needs to be upgraded .
