    Follow the steps:

    • Click on Start, >> RUN, in run box type %SystemRoot%\System32\Restore\Rstrui.exe and after that click OK.

    • One screen appears. On Welcome to system restore page, Click Restore my computer to an earlier time, then click Next.

    • Next Select a Restore Point page, click on system checkpoint. Now choose the restore point area, you can see “Guided Help (Registry Backup)” after that click on Next. If on your monitor System Restore Message come outs that list configuration changes then click OK.

    • On Confirm Restore Point Selection page, click Next. Systems automatically restore the previous windows XP configuration and then reboot your system.

    • When your System Restore Confirmation page appears, Log on to the computer and after that click on OK.
