Thread: Unable to wipe out Win Antivirus Vista/XP

Windows XP installed in my system. I have found that my PC is infected with the Win Antivirus XP, Because of this my system running very slow. I have tried different solution to remove it from my system but none of them worked out. Please help me to get rid of this problem. Thanks in Advance.

1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to start Task Manager and end the following processes if they are exist:

winavista.exe

winaxp.exe

2. Locate and remove the following folder or files from your PC:
c:\Program Files\Win-Antivirus

%UserProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\Win Antivirus

3. Click Start, type Regedit and press Enter

4. From your Registry, locate and remove the following registry key:
%UserProfile%HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Win Antivirus Vista/XP"

Try out the above solution I think it will remove Win Antivirus Vista/XP should from your PC.
