Setting up and modifying your Windows XP dial-up connection will enable to get online using a conventional modem setup. This is a fairly straightforward task that is completed using the Setup Wizards in the XP in service system. The process will take you approximately 10 to 20 min. depending on the speed of PC.
Instructions
1. Press "Start" & click "Control Panel."
2. Hit "Network & Internet Connections" & click "Create a connection at your
workplace."
3. Enter the information for your dial-up connection & click "OK."
4. Hit "Dial up connection," press "Next," put a name for the connection, re-enter the phone number, and click "Finish."
