Default I am going reverse to XP from Vista?

    Hey guys...
Vista Home on my laptop and in its put of trying to reinstall again I am thinking about just putting my good old copy of XP back on it. As long as I format the hard drive previous to I attempt to install XP will this work okay? Or will there be other issues I need to look out for?

Win XP Extended Support expires in April 2014. Still a way yet previous to have to worry about hold up for it dying off

I concur that Windows 7 is value considering but that depends on what it is about Vista that noahm3 is annoyed at. If it's the overall sluggishness, then sure, go for Windows 7. If it's the ridiculous layout of settings, the definitely Win XP.
