Thread: CD Burning matter with Vista Downgraded TO XP

I have a novel HP Compaq DXZ 2400 Micro tower with Windows Vista demote to XP. I also have a Dell laptop with XP. I can burn cds with the laptop that will play in my car cd player, but the cds I burn on the HP PC will not play in the car player. I have used a lot of dissimilar burning software, have decided the discs, and have tried different brands of discs.

Ensure it’s a CD-R and not a CD-RW.

Attempt burning at a slower speed like 4x.

Be sure you burn the CD in CD-DA format rather than CD-ROM format.
