Installing Office XP on a PC that is running an earlier edition of Windows may hit you as a not possible task, but Microsoft move ahead and make backwards compatibility into the program.

Instructions

• Place the Office XP installation CD into the PC.

• Press "Install." Type your name, organization, and product key.

• Press "Accept" to the license terms.

• Press "Install Now" and press "Next."

• Again start PC when the installation progress bar arrives at the end and an onscreen message emerge telling you that the installation has been finished.
