Instructions:-

• Download the Flash Drive Prep zip file from Megaupload.com and system the outer drive so you can install Windows XP. Open the zip folder and remove the files. Run usb_prep8.cmd from the USB_prep8 folder. Click any key once the Windows comfort opens and it will open a window in PeToUSB. Search the drive you desire to install XP to. Hit Start and permit it to format your drive. Hit OK but do not shut either window still.

• Open a DOS control window by entering "cmd" keen on the Run field when you right-hit on the Start menu. Search the bootsect folder as of the list when you enter "dir" keen on the DOS window. Access the bootsect folder by entering

cd <folder name>

replacement the bootsect folder's name.

• Make a bootsect folder on external drive. Enter this control keen on the DOS window and hit the Enter key:

bootsect.exe /nt52 g:

ensure you utilize the letter your PC allocate to external drive, if it is not called "g." Close the DOS window and the PeToUSB window. Keep the comfort from Step 1 open.

• Do the Windows XP installation on the exterior drive. Place Windows installation CD in your CD drive. Hit1 in the console and place the CD drive. Choose number 2 and make a virtual drive with a letter that PC does not previously have assigned. Push 3 and enter the letter PC assigned to the external drive. Press 4 and go behind the instructions to install Windows XP.
