The XP start-menu displays your name on top. This is very useful in case you get loss of memory. But, it will also disclose who’s logged on, if you forget to remove the [Ed]*ahem* seedy content. If you don’t want people to see who’s logged onto a PC, then try this.

• Open the registry editor.

• In the left hand side, browse to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer

• In the right hand side, right-click in anywhere in desktop and choose New | DWORD value

• Name the new value NoUserNameInStartMenu

• Set the value data to 1

• Restart the computer to apply the change.

• If you want to get the user name back, repeat the course and set the price data to 0.
