Thread: Recover bad division in XP

I am having the desktop computer system which has the Windows XP operating system. In my C drive there is bad sector. I want to recover that bad sector but don’t know how to recover that. Please tell me How can i recover it? Thanks in advanced.

Using these steps you can recover bad sector in XP.

1. Press the Start button >> choose My Computer.

2. In HDD highlight the disk which you would like to scan.

3. Open the File menu and select Properties

4. Open the Tools tab and Click the Check Now button.
