Thread: Restoring desktop image on Windows XP

Windows XP installed in my system. From last night my desktop background looks like solid blue desktop screen on my pc. It is possible to restore my desktop image back on my system? Any ideas on how i can get rid of this and restore my ability to put my own pictures etc back in place. I can’t figure out why I am facing such problems and hence need your help in solving the issue. Please suggest some solutions.

Follow the given steps:

• Go to Start Menu, select Run and type in Regedit.

• Browse the following key "
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\System "

• Then check out whether your Wallpaper has been listed in the right hand side,

• After that either you should change its data value or delete it.
