Thread: Win XP install fail on operating system7

I work with windows 7, and I want the to learn on XP before, when I want to install it it load the files but before just starting the installation steps, a blue screen appears and it stop the installation.

You have follow some steps when you installing XP. Was that an attempt to change windows 7 during the install attempt with the idea of deleting the 7 folders or did you first reformat the drive to insure it was free of any windows previously installed?

If still you go with the new version 7 on and windows XP you have the chance to s work with dual boot if you have any experience in partitioning hard drives. With a large enough hard drive you can simply shrink the 7 primary down and install XP after 7, install XP to a second hard drive, or start everything over with 7 being installed fresh after XP on a second primary instead.
