Default Shift from Linux to XP and having disk issues

I have spent the lot of time to moving data off 3 drives onto an external. One at a time. Formatting the drive as ntfs using 'mkntfs' then moving the data back. All the drives were formerly ext4 which is entirely unreadable in Windows even with the Ext2IFS driver. Linux mounts 2-4 using the fuse ntfs-3g driver just fine and recognizes all 3 as ntfs drives. The Windows install process, where you format the drives, recognizes that all 3 are NTFS as well. But I notice that "MBR" is also listed by every single disc. Can you help me?

I had to clean up your post there to make it readable since in fact you tried using enlarged lettering in your edit regrettably that didn't come out like you had planned.

When booting off one of the latest releases of GParted you don't have to play around with boot flags but just click on the previous partition you have to remove and after clicking the Apply button to watch the scrolling bar as the tool goes to work just click again in the blank drive space and click the new button. Afterwards you simply right click on that and scroll down to the ntfs option to select that and clicks apply again.

Windows will notice those and them in later once Windows is up and start generally on the future drive. Then you can simply go into the Disk Management tool

Once you have used GParted a sometimes you won't want to use anything else as it is much easier to work with and the current releases from the 0.3.9 and new automatically found your monitor's native resolution over being stuck with the old 1024x768! The idle drives connect in at the same time as you are trying to install Windows on a sata drive.
