Default To filter a folder in XP

I have a folder, A, of pictures only and they all have file extensions jpg eg abc.jpg, xyz.jpg. say I have a second folder, B, which contains all the files of A But all the files in B has extensions NEF in its place of jpg e.g. abc.NEF, efg.NEF, xyz.NEF. My suggestion is to take out all the files from B that has the same the name as A and also move or copy to a single folder. If A contains abc.jpg, xyz.jpg then abc.NEF and xyz.NEF will be take out and copied to a new folder. I'm not sure where to start. Is there a program out there that can do this? Or there's a special command to type at the command prompt?

In fact the copy and paste or only moving files from one folder to one more is rather a just view setting adjust. The view setting change from "sort by name" to "sort by type" will see all files in one folder separated by the difference in the digit file addition where you can show up to copy + paste or select a certain file type to be moved by dragging the highlighted files into a second browser window open to the new folder on the same drive even if that is on one more partition.

To moving files among two single drives you have to copy or back up to the second drive and after that delete the originals from the source folder. That will pay attention of having two different file types mixed in a speed.

From a command prompt the technique used there for moving all files is a batch command similar to "copy *.jpg C:\jpegs" from a photo folder or "move *.jpg C:\jpegs" That would be the old dos type commands .
