Default Windows XP pro, Calculator jump to my left ALT key

My windows are completely updated and I have a Logitech keyboard completely updated drivers. ITouch is fully updated for it. It's the Elite keyboard LE. I alt tabbed out of a game and since then the alt key has been bound to the windows calculator. Always I hit it, it opens a new calculator. I've tried turning on sticky keys and that didn't help, I uninstalled kb drivers that did not anything. Require some help; someone out there must have had this problem before. Please someone help me.

If you using any macros recently for setting different modes, extend or reducing choice, or just recently installed a new program that may reassigned the key function. The information seen on that doesn't specify that as a programmable type as still seeing extra keys for extra functions. If there is no problem now being seen with the keyboard itself you may be able to turn around the problem by use of the system restore characteristic to bring the system back before the problem was first seen.

I could try a system restore, but I’m wonder if this is being caused by a registry file. Not sure if that's possible, or my keyboard is dying. Despite I think I' m go to purchase a new one. If you have any other ideas or speculation, give me some advice.

Through that model in use for that amount of time you could be considering a wedged contact. You would be amazed how quick and other debris gets lodged under the keys themselves.

at times you have to find in there with a good can of air cleaner in order to rid them of dust when problems are noticed. it might presently wear taking its toll after all. I have one of their cordless models I keep on hand as a spare here while the mouse that came with it wasn't any help. That would be the other thing to try out
