Thread: Win XP Screensaver unable to start

I have WinXP x64 on my Dell Inspiron laptop, and a some weeks ago, the screensaver has unsuccessful to make active when the computer is left idle. I have enabled the screen saver to start nearly in 2 minutes of inactivity, up till now it doesn't appear to start. I also try to sample a screensaver, and the screensaver stops after 2 seconds.

I have also put power management to turn the screen off after 15-20 minutes, and that doesn't seem to work either.

Any solutions to solve my problem would be appreciated.
