The arrow can be deleted through the registry even under Vista - we will show you the procedure for both the systems. First, log in with an account having administrative rights under Windows XP and open 'Start I Run'. In Windows Vista, you will find the command under 'Start I All programs I Accessories I Run'.
If you have logged in under Vista without admin rights, right click on 'Start
I All programsl Accessories I Command prompt' first, select 'Run as administrator' in the context menu and then select an administrator account and enter the assigned password. Type in 'regedit.exe' in the 'Run' dialog box and press 'OK'.
Now navigate to 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ Inkfile' in the editor and delete 'lsShortcut' in the right portion of the window. Alternatively, you can give a new name to the value with 'Edit I Rename' and even revoke the change later just as quickly. After you are done, exit the editor and restart Windows.
