I have read your trouble if you have set up the windows vista later onhlding the windos xp in your machine it means you are operating thedual running machine in your laptop. I guess the trouble which youare tackling is just since of the lacking boot.ini file in windowsxp. When you have set up the windows vista at that time vistas bootregister may be wrackes with the windows XP boot register. That iswhy it is not permit you to start the windows XP.

If you are not capable to defeat the trouble than just take the backupof entire your information of your hard disk and later on that firstformat the windows vista repel and then format the windows xp repel. After that first set up the vista and then set up the windows xp. Nowentire the matters will operate perfectly fine. If you require betteranswer then don’t alter the order of set up the running system. Iguess this will assist you to defeat your trouble.

I later on set up the dual running system you are tackling this troublethen I suggest you to just remove the single of the running machinefrom your laptop and later on that you will not tackle this troubleagain. If you have set up the windows vista and if you arecomfortable with it then I suggest you take the entire the backupfrom the windows xp repel and just format it. And if you don’trequire windows vista then you can format the vista repel aftertaking the backup. I guess this is the better way to defeat thismatter.

    Thank You,
