Thread: Skype 5.3 is breaking apart with Windows XP SP3.

Hey guys I am using Windows XP SP3 on my computer. I had installed Skype 5.3 in it. The problem is that Skype crashes at start up. I tried to gain support from Skype, but not of any use. I also did a lot of research on Google but dint find any solution until now. I was not addressing this problem when I was using the version of Skype, I'm experiencing only since I had upgraded to the latest version of Skype. I don't know why I am experiencing this problem. Has anyone else come up with the same problem?

I'm in front of the same problem. I'm also using the same version of Skype 5.3, but instead I am using SP2, Service Pack 3 (SP3). I got the problem fixed. I wasn't, I have to uninstall Skype, and then install the latest version, but I found the issue of the failure.
