Default Windows XP hangs again and again

I am operating Windows XP SP2 on Intel Celeron 2.6 on with having with 512mb Ram in it. I'm testing to reset up Windows Xp, but all time it begin to boot. I still can't boot into safe mode. It loads woods till AGPCPQ.SYS and go to black screen and begins to reboot again. So, can anyone tell me that why it get hangs up as loading the woods until AGPCPQ.SYS looks and go to the black screen? Do i require to set up a fresh video card on my pc? Does anyone recognize about this matter

Try booting into Enable VGA mode rather of Safe mode. AgpCPQ.sys is not only concerned to the AGP bus. It is loaded by Windows later that MUP.sys in safe mode. That loads Windows actually exclude it forces the video into a basic VGA mode that entire video hardware affirm, and the particular woods for your video hardware are not loaded. If that gets you to the desktop, you can then remove the video wood in Add/Remove programs and then set up them.

My XP Pro system was suspension with the final step viewing agpcpq.sys -the trouble depicted here. The solution given by jesse operated for me.I couldn't determine the boot disk for XP Pro, but I had a boot disk for XP Home. I was capable to finish jesse's statement sucessfully after booting with the XP Home disk.

You can disable unnecessary startup programs, you can uninstall unused programs from your computer and you can use utility software for your computer.
