Thread: Windows xp dumb hibernation when using ac adaptor.

I have an hp l2000 laptop whose cpu board i recently rechange and set up windows xp. except for the next issue, it works right:


I have observed that hibernation takes three minutes when the laptop is plugged into a good outlet via the ac adapter. conversely, when the laptop is operating on battery power, the quiescency finishes among 10-20 seconds.


I have tested utilize another posted solution for dumb hibernation (Solution determine for Slow Hibernate, but it doesn't operate.


Any suggestions are appreciated.

I had a same situation today with arriving out of hibernation. It turns out it was my display woods. Did you lately update/alter your display woods? I was utilize 165.01 when the trouble lived. Now I'm utilize 163.44. Its been operate better so far...

Sorry, maybe i wasn't clean. the slowed part of the hibernation on my laptop is going into quiescency. when i try to hibernate my laptop, it is identical dumb (2-3 minutes) when utilize the ac adapter, but but comparatively fast when i am operating on battery power (~20 seconds). when i arrive out of hibernation, the pc reply is nice fast for either case. Do you guess the display woods would yet be significant, or does that only affect the coming-out-of-hibernation behavior?
