If it is necessary to change the size of several digital images, the user, most often, runs the program editing of images and reduces each image separately, that takes a long time. In Windows XP operating system has a built-utility for resizing images, access to which can be from dialog "send images by e-mail" (Send Pictures Via E-Mail).
This utility allows you to quickly and easily change the size of large quantities of digital photos simultaneously. To use this utility, you must:
• Press the key [Windows] + E to launch Windows Explorer (Windows Explorer).
• Ensure that the area is visible tasks (Tasks pane). Folders "button" (Folders) serves as a switch: if displayed directory tree (Tree pane), you can just press this button to turn to the task.
• Open the folder containing those photos, which are needed to be changed. Choose the desired pictures.
• In the list of tasks for files and folders (File And Folder Task list), choose "Send the selected items by e-mail" (E-Mail The Selected Items).
• In the dialog box, "send pictures by e-mail" (Send Pictures Via E-Mail), click on "more" (Show More Options) to gain access to advanced settings.
• Choose one of the size by clicking the appropriate button, and click "OK". A new window appears editing email with the reduced photos attached as an attachment.
• Open from the File menu (File), select "Save attachments" (Save Attachments), and save all attachments to another folder.
• Close editing e-mail and click "No" (No) in the dialog box, save the changes (Save Changes).
