Default Install Windows XP to Windows 7

I want Windows XP to Windows 7 Home Premium naträglich install.
I have the following disk configuration: Disk 0: 230GB, Partition 1 data, Partition 2 data, 3 empty partition . Disk 1: 100 GB 1 System Reserved Partition, 2 Windows 7 partition . I would now like Windows XP on the empty partition of 40GB disk 0 install! Is this possible? If I want to install Windows it makes up for the restart (copied to all the Windows data are) then it no longer booted. Whether on Windows 7 or XP!

If partition 2 and 3 are primary partitions as that! We actually first installed Windows XP and then Windows 7 The installation of the data itself does, however, you delete Windows XP, the boot record of Windows 7 You have to fix this (probably with the Windows 7 installation disk) then. The boot record of Windows 7 (and including Windows XP) must be installed on the "primary" hard disk (the one that the BIOS checks first -> partially adjusted in the BIOS).

Yes, the boot record not good. It restarts and then boots from hard disk to continue the installation. However, the boot record is incorrect, so he starts either Windows 7 or not (depending on where the defect is located).

There are all primary partitions ... but it starts the setup after the copy of the data is no longer?

Hey, so the virtual XP "Windows XP Mode" is actually very simple. I am running because I run a special program GIs, and funzt wonderful! May in any case I would prefer, especially since the Windos XP can run in windowed mode and I switch between Windows 7 U'ltimate simplest and Windows XP.
