Symptom 8:
This can happen with some programmable keyboards when pen software is installed on the Winddws 9x/ .Me systems (this is not known to occur under Windows XP). You should be able to correct the problem by disabling the pen device under Windows 9x/Me.
1. Click Start-7Settings-7Control Panel.
3. Double-click the System icon and select the Device Manager tab.
4. Double-click the Ports entry to expand it.
5. Double-click the port to which the pen (or touch screen) device is connected.
5. In the Device Usage area on the General tab, click the
Original Configuration (Current) check box to clear it.
6. lick OK, and then restart the system when prompted.
