Default Considering of having double net? Unable to forward the port

Ok my setup which is generally like this the router/modem (192.168.0.1) which is been connected to wireless router (192.168.0.2) dhcp off and I make use of my laptop for connecting it to the wireless router. Now I unable to port forward, yes my firewall is off, and I’ve double checked it as well as my wireless router, too which is a special mode called as a "use as access point" so then bypasses all my firewall objects, etc.

    Need advice thanks

You're right, both of them are routers. If you desire to configure the Belkin which as follows, you can easily do by configuration in the Netgear and then removing the Belkin NAT layer from it. You can also do for connecting of two (or more) SOHO broadband routers jointly.

Note: The "primary" router which is the actual router, a software access like Microsoft Internet Connection Sharing, or a server association that has the ability to supply more than one IP address using DHCP server ability. No changes are been made to the primary "router" configuration.

Try to configure the IP address of the secondary router(s) to be in the same subnet as the primary router, but it is out of the range of the DHCP server which is in the primary router. For example DHCP server addresses 192.168.0.2 through 192.168.0.100, I'd also allocated the secondary router 192.168.0.254 as it's IP address, 192.168.0.253 for another router, etc.

Note: Try doing this first, as you will have to reboot the computer for connecting to the router again and again for the left over changes.

Then disable the DHCP server which is in the secondary router. Setup the wireless part just the way which you might be the primary router, channels, encryption, etc. Also connect it from the primary router's LAN port to one of the LAN ports which is been placed on the secondary router. If there is no uplink port and neither of the routers contain auto-sensing ports, and then make use of a cross-over cable. Leave the WAN port unrelated!

This type of system is for bypassing the routing function (NAT layer) and then configures the router as a switch (or wireless access point for wireless router)
