Belkin Launches their new 54g Wireless Notebook Network Card

The specifications of this card are:-
The cards Wireless spec standards are IEEE 802.11b (Wi-Fi) / IEEE 802.11g
The card can be operated at range of up to 1500 feet and operating system supported by the card are Windows 98 and Windows XP and it’s not compatible with Windows Vista the Regulatory of the cards is available on the regulatory basis of under FCC Agency who looks after the Wireless communication system and is available in Class B, CE, ICES, C-Tick.

The Unit:

The card is larger as compared to normal PCMCIA cards as it is due to the indicators and the antenna which are on the end of the card.

The installation is directly connect it to yours laptop and switch on and after that you have install to install the drivers from the CD provided along with the card. And within few minutes you are ready to connect the wireless network the card does not automatically search for a available network if one is available it will connect and prompt you to enter the WEP and confirm whether it’s legal so that it will connect.
Using this card to search for the above access point was very simple enough, once the WEP had been legal we were up and running. Once you've installed one wireless card you will realize just how simple they are to setup and use.
As you can even connect the card to your another system by using the wireless router and the card was able to access even through router and it had a good signal strength and the speed viewing WEB pages was even normal and it still managed to get fast download speed of almost 50-80KB/sec and did not create any problem after using for several day. As the card has a good look and setup are very simple and easy to install and you want notice the difference between 54Mbps and 11Mbps and get connect very easily ro routers and other access points.
