MIMO wireless technology

The MIMO means (multiple input multiple output), and wireless technology, I designed to enhance the range and bandwidth of multiple wireless - pronounced Moe. MIMO radio chipset, the two algorithms are used to send information to one or more of the antenna. To create is used to convey information and details of the path of radio signals to reflect the various objects in its environment. This information is in re-MIMO receiver algorithms. Current technology using 802.11 grams of sending a dual receiving antenna, the antenna using a single MIMO multiplexing. Of MIMO and transmit detailed information, additional pathway is provided by using multiple antennas, receives the edge signal recombination.
The MIMO throughput, range and reliability of wireless applications that can run on a centralized wireless throughput will increase the usefulness of applications for wireless LAN (wireless LAN) to provide improvements. Airgo's MIMO chipset at the same time the implementation of 54Mbps (Airgo, a total of two different datastreams 108Mbps MIMO is sent chip manufacturer).

Eventually, IEEE of MIMO and for the experience of home and office wireless networks Hopefully the data rate wireless network to fill dead spots in wireless 100Mbps to push most people on the Mark 802.11n standard promises to be.

Of course, new technologies, new (more expensive) hardware is required. Unfortunately, we are manufacturing the products may not necessarily work with each other different. You may need the same brand of wireless adapters and access points. The best result, both ends of the connection is true MIMO implementation is obtained. "True MIMO" and sent to both the need for multiple antennas and radios to receive both sides of the link. MIMO hardware rose more than expected (or at least the beginning of the fall) will be expensive to get the glory.
