Thread: How to get my router security key

My friend who just got a latest laptop, but his dad wrote down the router's security key. His dad then put the paper with the key on it up anywhere and won't tell someone where. He never sees his dad so he can't get the key. Is there any way he can find out the security key for his router so he can use the internet on his laptop?

I don't know a lot on routers, the merely thing I know of is to reset the router to factory settings. This may not work in your situation or it may be a big annoys, but it's the only way I know how to fix it. Expectantly somebody else posts a superior solution than this.
