The BelkinN150 is a cute small router, the size of a small tiffin box with a range of up to 1,000 feet (outdoors) which is enough for coverage inside an apartment or small office environment. It uses the draft 802.11 n technology but only supports the big standards with a maximum throughput performance of 150 Mb/s. With support for WPA/WPA-2 and WEP security modes with 64-bit and 128-bit encryption, the router also features WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup). Regular features such as firewall, MAC address cloning and filtering, DMZ and static DHCP are supported. The setup interface is simple and user-friendly and configuring is a piece of cake. Performance was decent enough for internet usage and basic file transfers at a range of 50 feet with three barriers. At close range or in open spaces, the router performs well for large file transfers and streaming videos.
