    Default router problem?

I have 2 desktop pc running through my router (a Thompson speed touch 585 v6) just recently both pc have started to run very slow when we are on the net. I have checked my download speed and its ok 1.97 from a 2mb bandwidth the speed in which the pages turn it is as if I am on a 1/4 MB bandwidth.
Some days are better than others, sometimes the page is loaded as a white blank page, but if I click "Update" half a dozen times it will boot, but the problem starts with the white page next time
other times only half the information on the page loads
does this sound like a router problem to anybody out there?
I have turned off the router resumed it, pressed the reset button but no progress.
    plz help

    Default

Try to connect one system directly to the modem and see whether that happens too. If yes, then it is not the router.

    Default router problem?

    Hello friends

A good router gone bad isn't always a bad router. Most times it's just a good router looking for a little love and attention. We've all had it happen: You're sitting there connected to your network, browsing the Internet, or trying to get some game on, or you just want to watch a video from upstairs, and, suddenly, Shazaam! You feel like you're walking uphill through drying cement -- in lead shoes.
The feeling isn't good and, when it happens, all you really want to do is point your 27th century neutron rifle at your router and blast away.
It's an understandable reaction, but it's not the most fiscally responsible solution. Routers can be expensive items to replace. So we've rounded up a few tips to try to overcome some of the more common causes of router headaches. thanks for sharing us.

    Thanks to you........................
