Default The easy method to Set Up a Mac Airport

The AirPort Extreme and the AirPort Express are wireless routers from Apple. The AirPort Extreme offers the primary foundation station and the AirPort Express can offer as a portable router or wireless extender when linked with an AirPort Extreme base station. These systems can be established to make a wireless network for Macs and computers.

    Connect to the Internet

Attach the AirPort Extreme to the cable modem or DSL modem through an Ethernet cable and connect its power supply. If an AirPort Express is linked with an AirPort Extreme, it does not require connected to an Ethernet cable and can be just plugged in a power outlet.

    Airport Utility

The system is packaged with AirPort Utility software on CD. Install the program from the disc, if required, use the latest version, or if the PC is Windows XP or latest. Switch on the PCs wireless Airport and start the application to start the Set Up Assistant.

The program will automatically scan the place for available wireless network system, specially for an AirPort base station. After the AirPort base station is found an icon will show up as a system. Choose base station and click "Continue" to configure and set up security for wireless network.

Allocate a name for the AirPort station and wireless network, for recognition and security passwords by entering the information in the fields on the window. Remember the security information for AirPort network. Click "Continue" to continue. Confirm country and region, the Internet connection and enter a password for the base station on the subsequent windows. Click "Finish".

    Additional Options

The "Manual Setup" feature can be chosen after the AirPort application finds the AirPort base station, or it can be accessed under "Base Station" in the top menu bar. Consider adding a printer to network or a shared external HDD by connecting it to the AirPort Extreme with a USB cable. Choose these icons at the top of the window to establish the system using the assistant.

Consider using the AirPort Express to broadcast iTunes via stereo. Insert stereo or speakers in the audio jack on the system and establish AirPort Express from the AirPort application. The Apple Website, establish AirTunes by opening iTunes and selecting stereo or speakers in the pop-up menu at the right side of the screen.

    Hello friends

The simple method is airport For the first method, use the Gateway Setup Assistant (/Applications/Server) to share your internet connection to your AirPort Card. This only takes a few seconds and clicks. After that has been configured, create a computer-to-computer network with WEP if need be. The name of your computer-to-computer network will be the SSID that people will see in their wireless selection menus.
This works fine, except that when another OS X machine connects to your computer-to-computer network, they will have no wireless strength in their menubar, just a computer icon. Also, using this method is slow to provide a DHCP address, as a user's connecting computer will have a 10 to 15 second delay before getting its IP Information.

    Thanks to all..............
