Aspiring Hughes Net satellite dish can be difficult, even for professionals. Here is a tip to do it easily.
If not having a Hughes Net Dish or are not professions do not try to do so. First you will require downloading an application manned PC-OPI. This application works like hand held OPI meters, but works on laptop. After installing it and connecting all cables properly, connect a LAN cable from terminal to laptop. Use network address that comes with system to log in terminal from Hughes Net Setup page. Follow instruction, typing zip code and forward to page showing direction in degrees of satellite to connect. Note polarity number and inclination. You will require for adjusting these 3 things.
With satellite dish mounted on level surface, use compass and point dish in direction showing on setup page. Next undo screws holding the back of the dish to mounting bracket and turn the whole dish on its axis to adjust polarity to match number on setup page. A polarity measure is stamped on back of dish.
Set proclivity of dish to suit that found on setup page. Return to terminal, and exit Hughes Net Setup page. Open PC-OPI application. Increase volume on PC. If network cable is long enough take laptop near dish. If not use 2 communicating device to send audio from PC-OPI. The application will speak signal strength number out loud. Put both devices on same channel, depress and keep mouth of device on position with a rubber band so that it is sending audio from PC-OPI application to other device. Go outside and start moving dish side to side, in increasing swaths till you hear signal number go up. After finding satellite in this manner, start setting inclination up or down till you get a stronger signal. If signal does not cross 29 you are on wrong satellite. Try getting signal of 75 or more. After locking in satellite, fix all screws and go back to terminal. Do a cross-poll check and if it passes exit application and go further with Hughes Net Setup. If don't pass cross poll go back to dish and set polarity by revolving dish on its axis, a few degrees either way and follow cross poll test.
